An extraordinary year brings an opportunity to highlight our members, networks and volunteers.  The 2022 CHHA National Awards will be taking place virtually Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 4 pm EST.

The 2022 National Awards

The Bette Moulton Award

This award is presented to the CHHA Network which contributes the most innovative idea, significant event or outstanding achievement which benefits hard of hearing persons.

The Marilyn Dahl Award of Merit

This award recognizes a hard of hearing member of CHHA who has contributed outstanding service to the work of the Association at the National, Provincial/Territorial or local level.

The Charles Laszlo Award of Technical Excellence

This award recognizes a CHHA Network or CHHA member that has provided the best accessibility for its members through the use of modern technology.

The Winnifred C. Cory Award of Merit

This award is presented to the hearing member of CHHA who has contributed outstanding service to the work of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association at the National, Provincial/Territorial or local level.

The Lynn Wheadon Education Award

The recipient of this award is a hard of hearing member of CHHA who has demonstrated outstanding work in educating CHHA members and/or the general public on hearing loss-related issues.

The Cantlie Community Development and Community Relations National Award

This award is to be presented to a CHHA Network, a member, individual, or an Association that has worked diligently in the past to further the mandate of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association in its community.

The Young Adult Award of Excellence

The recipient of this award is to recognize an individual who demonstrates outstanding personal, community, and/or professional activities in the area of hearing loss.

The Dr. Norah Browne Professional Award

This is a new award which recognizes a professional or a professional group who has contributed outstanding service to the work of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association.

Application for CHHA National Awards

This year, the application form has changed and is now available online. Networks/individuals may nominate one person/network for each national award each year.

The application process for 2022 is now closed.

Ticket Information
