CHHA-BC is hosting their very first special exhibit The Way We Hear It! A Community Engagement Exhibition.
The exhibit will be held at the Okanagan Science Centre in Vernon, BC, from May 1-31st, 2022, seven days/week 10-4 pm PT.
The Way We Hear It! will provide an interactive, hands-on experience that will educate the general public of all ages about our auditory system, hearing health, hearing loss, diverse treatments and solutions, as well as promoting our community of people with hearing loss.
Hearing screening will be offered by the Interior Health Authority for the first week of opening May 1-7th 11-2 pm PT.
Other exhibit stations include: a walk-through of the auditory pathway, a hearing loss simulator, hearing devices, accessibility measures for those with hearing loss, and much more.
