APSEA Homepage: The Atlantic Provinces Special Education Authority provides services for hearing impaired students.
Nova Scotia Hearing and Speech Clinic: The Nova Scotia Hearing and Speech Clinic offers professional assessment to individuals with any form of speech, hearing or language impairment, but excludes children in school for speech-language pathology services only. Referrals to this facility can be made by doctors, through hospitals and other health agencies, or by the clients themselves.

ODSP Employment Support: The Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) is intended to meet the unique needs of two people with disabilities and help them to become more independent. The ODSP has two parts: Employment Supports provides the supports people with disabilities need to get and keep jobs, and Income Support provides financial assistance to people with disabilities.

PEI Council of the Disabled: The PEI Council of the Disabled is the voice of Islanders with disabilities. The Council was formed in 1974 by concerned people with disabilities. Its original mandate was to speak out on issues such as housing, education, employment, transportation, human rights and access to support services, all of which it continues to address today.
