Christianne has joined the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA) as the Project Manager for– Spotlight on Invisible Disabilities Project. This new initiative will engage, consult and collaborate with CHHA’s members and stakeholders to identify emerging issues and challenges facing Canadians with disabilities. The projects goal is to underline considerations and report back to the Government of Canada for future federal accessibility legislation.

For over 15 years, Christianne has held senior roles in the not-for-profit sector with a focus on youth and education. Her positions have allowed her to travel extensively within Canada and abroad to partner with industry and academic professionals to benchmark best practices in educational engagement. Her strengths include developing and implementing strategic communications and event management plans.

As a Director at Skills Canada, she most recently spearheaded a national three-year project funded by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) on engaging members and stakeholders on the importance of the essential skills needed to succeed in work, learning and life.

Christianne is a graduate of Carleton University in Law and Sociology. In addition, she is receiving an Essential Skills Practitioner Certificate that enables her to effectively assess and enhance skills set within industry and education.

Christianne believes that the acquisition of educational resources provides everyone an opportunity to lead a productive and rewarding life whether that be at home, in the classroom or in the workplace.

Christianne lives in Ottawa with her husband and two young daughters.
